IS A BOXER RIGHT FOR YOU?
Boxers are really sweet, beautiful,
and great family dogs, they are really
great with children. However, there
are alot of things to consider when
you are thinking of adopting a boxer,
It is a very big responsibility, they
depend on you for their every need.
Purchasing a boxer puppy is a life
long commitment. Be sure you can
provide your boxer with a loving
home, vet care, and basic needs.
Boxers are very hyper, active dogs,
they grow to be pretty big, they don't
do well in extreme hot or cold
weather, or alone in a backyard.
They LOVE people and my
experience is that they are very smart
and easily trained.
Some people crop their dogs ears and
some don't, it is really a personal
preference. If you decide to please be
sure to check into wether the vet you
use has good experience doing boxer
ears, you don't want your boxer to
end up with a pit cut or messed up
ears, also, it is a good bit of after
care and sometimes takes months of
wrapping to get them to stand, but if
done correctly they are beautiful. If
you decide a Boxer is right for
you...GREAT! Be prepared to get lots
of doggy kisses! They are truly loyal
dogs!
