| Below is a chart that estimates the size of poodle babies, there is no guarantee that is will be totally correct for every puppy. We do not breed our puppies for "teacup" sizes, as there is no such thing, that is terms breeders have made up to describe a very small puppy that has been bred with two very small parents and is often very fragile and sickly. We breed according to the AKC toy poodle standard. If any of our babies are tiny it is just their make-up. It is still by AKC standards a "toy poodle" no matter how small it is any poodle under 10 inches at the shoulder is a toy poodle. The other two sizes AKC recognizes is Standard and miniature. We at Bluerose Poodles only raise toy poodles. |
